Hunter Global: The Multilingual Journal
I founded the first cultural multilingual journal at my school. Featuring articles in various languages (its inaugural issue had 6 different ones!), it embraces my school’s cultural diversity by creating a space for students to share and engage with their many cultures. With an editorial board of 10+ students, the journal has found much success and is currently preparing to publish its second issue. See a copy of the first issue below.
HawkHacks: Coding for Good
I am president of my school’s hack-a-thon for social good. Each year we focus on themes like misinformation and the UN’s SDGs, delivering an engaging and successful hack-a-thon experience. Last year we had an international hack-a-thon with 30+ participants and judges from NASA, Harvard, and Visa.

History & Economics
As an avid history enthusiast, I am always trying to find ways to give back to the historical community. By joining the Gilder Lehrman Student Advisory Council I can do just that, providing feedback on the history initiatives that will shape the next generation of historians. Through my experience in the council, I’ve had the opportunity to participate as a student speaker at the Gilder Lehrman Annual Gala and the National History Teacher of the Year Awards Ceremony. I’ve also gotten third prize at their David McCullough Essay prize twice for two research essays.
As president of my school’s economic team I apply the experience gained in my history research to the markets. I lead the team, manage training of new members and represent my school at economics competitions.
See the below pictures from my history and economics experience as well as the two essays.
